MSB – Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency. The task of the MSB is to enhance and support societal capacities for preparedness for and prevention of emergencies and crises. When one does occur, we support the stakeholders involved by taking the right measures to control the situation.

The Government Offices form a single, integrated public authority comprising the Prime Minister’s Office, the government ministries and the Office for Administrative Affairs. The Prime Minister leads and coordinates the work of the Government; the twelve ministries handle government business in their respective fields, while the Office for Administrative Affairs provides the administrative services required by the Government Offices. Approximately 4,600 members of staff are employed at the Government Offices, of whom around 180 are political appointees. The Government consists of the Prime Minister and 21 other ministers. The number of ministers or ministries is not subject to regulation. It is up to the Government to decide how the various duties are to be divided up. The Government takes decisions collectively when the Cabinet convenes on Thursdays. A minimum of five ministers must attend the Cabinet meeting before a formal decision can be taken.

Danderyds Kommun

The municipality of Danderyd is situated ten kilometres north of Stockholm, on three sides surrounded by water. In fifteen minutes the underground or the train takes you to central Stockholm. Danderyd has a long history and there are indications that people may have lived here as early as 5 000 years ago. Today Danderyd is a modern society with almost 30.000 inhabitants. A lot of houses are one-family residences, some very large and beautifully situated along the coastline. But most of our inhabitants live in ordinary sized one family-houses or in flats.
